My first home made bread and rolls

I'm so excited!!! As this is my very first home made bread :)

May I just say that we have an amazingly beautiful sunny day in Glasgow today, probably not the best day for baking, but hey nobody is perfect and I cannot predict the weather (especially in Glasgow haha).

I got up at 8 in the morning to start baking, after hours of waiting and preparing the bread was finally good to go in the oven.

That's how it looked like before baking.

I love bread covered in flour, so I generously sprinkled it in flour.














I made some rolls as there was too much dough. The rolls turned out so cute :) 

I even carved a little love heart on one - for Mikie :)








5 hours later... and there it is, my very first bread :)
I'm so proud of myself :)

And the cute rolls turned out lovely too, I've already had one. May I just say... yumm!!!

I have to say that I am very pleased with my day off. More days off like today please :)
I'm off to the kitchen now, need to cook something delicious for my hard-working honey.
